List of visa-free countries and territories for Barbadians travelling overseas

This is not official guidance and the information contained on this page may be incomplete or inaccurate.

This page indicates the entry requirements for Barbadians visiting countries and territories that do not require a visa prior to arrival for tourism purposes.

[1] Barbadian dual nationals should use their Barbadian passport to enter Sierra Leone to avoid a visitor visa fee that applies to other foreign nationals.

[2] Permission to enter the United Kingdom extends to the Crown Dependencies only (i.e. Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man) and does not extend to the British Overseas Territories. Each such territory maintains its own immigration laws which are separate to, and independent of, the United Kingdom. However, the maximum entry periods are the same for the United Kingdom and the British Overseas Territories of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Montserrat and Turks & Caicos Islands. Please note the overseas territories usually require its visitors to furnish a valid return / onward flight. From January 8, 2025, an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will be required for Barbadians travelling to the United Kingdom – learn more. If you are a British-Barbadian or Irish-Barbadian dual national, an ETA is not required as long as you enter the United Kingdom using your British or Irish passport.
